Thu June 24, 2010 | I was looking at packs around the 65l mark before I found the Lowe Alpine Expedition 75:95 and decided to go for it because of the adjustable back length and weight more than anything. I was a little dubious because I'm use to 2 main compartments, however I soon got use to it and even prefer the way I've got use to packing now. The extra space means I don't have to attach items to the outside of my pack for instance. The pack itself is first class, the suspension top notch, the adaptive fit hipbelt works great and the pack feels much better than others as I walk comparing it to other packs I've owned. I've also come to appreciate the noggin notch. Its just a great pack in every way that really matters, every gram used is useful.. thank you. |
Sat June 12, 2010 | I was looking for a quality flexible pack good for a couple day hike up to a multi-week expedition. This pack is "simply" perfect. One big multi-volume pack to carry as much or as little as you need. Instead of feeling like I NEED to fill so many small pockets and compartments with useful nothings, I ONLY pack what I will need and use in the TFX Expedition. Mon April 5, 2010 | You really have outdone yourselfs with this pack. I already owned your summit 65 + 15 pack and although I did find that pack to be first class (and has now found a good home) this one has blew me away. Of all the packs I've ever brought this one has nothing I would change. Where as most companies sacrifice comfort and load capabilites for a weight loss, you've someone improved both and still managed to reduce pack weight by nearly a third. Its a seriously good design done with your usual care regarding materials and construction. The lighter hipbelt and straps were an added bonus. Thank You, my never ending search for the perfect pack seems over at last. |
